CHATHAM COUNTY, GA
The Gould House was built ca 1840 and is one of the last remaining buildings associated with the Bethel community located in west Chatham County. Bethel was established in the late 1770s by Jacob Gould.
Concerned for the house's future preservation, the owners reached out for assistance. Ethos is currently completing measured drawings of the house and a National Register nomination in addition to consulting on rehabilitation decisions and the composition and obtainment of a preservation easement to protect the property in perpetuity.
